The Japan Federation of Gerontological Societies

The Japan Geriatrics Society launched The Japan Federation of Gerontological Societies in 1959 as an association with the Japan Socio-Gerontological Society, after which, the Japan Society for Biomedical Gerontology, the Japanese Society of Gerodontology, the Japan Society of Care Management, the Japan Academy of Gerontological Nursing, and the Japanese Society of Geriatric Pharmacy have joined. Now The Japan Federation of Gerontological Societies consists from seven societies.
